Leading UK careers education technology company CASCAID announced it has been awarded a contract to deliver a replacement software service across Northern Ireland.
The solution will enhance the delivery of careers guidance within the nidirect website.
For over 10 years, CASCAID has supported careers professionals in Northern Ireland with innovative technological solutions that assist the delivery of comprehensive careers education, information, advice and guidance to students and adults.
CASCAID chief executive Jim Burton said: “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to continue working with our valued careers education and guidance partners in Northern Ireland.
“Our long-term collaboration to provide a country-wide solution and implementation has given us incredible insight into providing our products and services at scale. A spokesperson from DfE’s Careers Service, said, “This is an exciting time for careers provision in Northern Ireland. The awarding of this contract to CASCAID, jointly by the Department of Education and the Department for the Economy, delivers on one of the key policy commitments set out in the strategy ‘Preparing for Success 2015-2020’ which was agreed by ministers from both Departments.
“The aim is to improve access to careers services through the use of new and innovative delivery channels. Both Departments look forward to working with CASCAID to ensure we continue to deliver high quality careers support to people of all ages and at all stages of their career journey.”
