Careers Report 2016

CASCAID is pleased to announce its latest careers report for 2016. A thorough analysis of the changing career choices made by young people.

CASCAID has 1.5 million current users of its cloud-based careers guidance services and through this it gains unparalleled insight into the career interests and choices of young people in the UK. Such data offers a clear insight and understanding of young people in relation to the world of work and potential career paths.

The data is analysed for national skills gaps and perception issues as well as drilling down to regional or local levels. CASCAID’s data is used to improve outcomes for young people, to inform policy and monitor particular problem areas such as the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) career interest and skills area.

“It is always incredibly interesting to look at the changing career interests of young people. We can see emerging trends as the labour market changes and look for progression in weaker areas such as STEM”

said CASCAID’s Chief Executive Jim Burton.

CASCAID is passionate about providing informative, impartial and accessible careers guidance resources that help support young people in identifying their future education, training and career goals. Easy online resources allow young people to explore a myriad of careers based on their interests and aspirations.
