Kudos will help you provide high-quality, impartial careers guidance in a cost-effective way.
Schools and academies have a legal obligation to ensure that all students have access to independent and impartial careers guidance. School leaders and governors have been instructed by government to ensure that support is provided that is in the best interest of students and that it helps them progress. This is now being inspected by Ofsted.
Kudos is designed to help you deliver your legal responsibilities for careers guidance and ensure that your students engage in quality, impactful careers exploration which you can evidence and track.
Kudos gives students the opportunity to explore a full range of careers and learning pathways so you can be confident that the information your students are using is completely impartial.
Kudos is a valuable learning tool which helps students learn more about themselves and encourages them to begin to plan for their future. By helping students to make the link between what they are learning now and how it could benefit them in their future career, Kudos can help to raise aspirations and attainment.
Kudos is the core of our CEIAG programme and Ofsted have just said that the quality of our careers guidance is strong

Having the time to build a programme of support for your students can be difficult. Ensuring that students, and the staff supporting them, make effective use of the resources available is a challenge that is commonly faced by many careers leaders and SLTs.
Kudos includes access to a range of support resources including lesson plans, user guides, teacher guides and resources for parents. These resources help users get the most from Kudos without the need for you to create implementation resources yourself.
Lesson resources are available for specific Year groups and include well defined learning outcomes and extension activities. There are also lesson plans built around key transition activities such as subject choice and intended destinations.
Student guides and the option to link from your VLE/Moodle means that your students can access trustworthy support at a time to suit them.
The resources are great – they’re ready to use so I can give them to tutors and students to work through during form time.
– Fiona, Careers and Progression Manager
Resources are tight but it’s important that the careers support your organisation provides is of a high quality and impartial. After all, your students will be using what they learn and discover to make decisions about their future learning options and career pathways.
Kudos can cost less than 50p* per student per year. For this you get the peace of mind that the resources you are signposting your students to are regularly updated and completely impartial.
If budgets are tight is can be tempting to direct students to free to access resources. However, to be confident that those resources are not misleading, are up-to-date, always provide support that is in the best interest of your students and are not generating revenue by exploiting your students’ data, you need to invest significant time in evaluating and monitoring the resource.
With Kudos you know that your students are accessing a reliable tool that is created not to deliver information for sponsors, but to help young people make the best possible decisions about their future.
It’s great value for money, you know its up-to-date and that what your students are using is good quality.
