New leaflet generator in Careerscape
The new online version of Careerscape enables users to generate leaflets.
Every career and article includes a downloadable leaflet/PDF version of the information, allowing your students/clients to take away a hard copy of the latest information.
They can also save leaflets to their own e-portfolio or network area as a PDF file.
Students/client can choose from a range of styles, including Easy Read and Large Print, and can choose the level of career information which appears in the leaflet. There's also the option to include photographs.
Careerscape includes leaflets covering:
- Over 1,800 career titles including information on Work Activities, Entry Routes and Training, Pay and Opportunities, Qualifications, and Personal Qualities and Skills.
- Hundreds of case studies showing people's own opinion of their career.
- Over 90 advice articles covering a wide range of education, training and employment topics such as HE applications, Apprenticeships, Options at 16, Job Hunting and Interviews.
- Subject link articles showing the careers that academic and vocational subjects are useful for.
- Over 100 Career Families illustrating opportunities in different industry sectors, such as Law Careers, Hotel Careers and Engineering.
- Lifestyle issues such as Healthy Eating, Money Management and Mental Health.
Careerscape also provides access to over 300 career videos showing real-life working environments, plus information article videos covering topics such as Apprenticeships and Gap Years.
There is also information on over 47,000 UCAS HE courses linked to careers.
Kudos/Adult Directions subscribers can purchase a Careerscape licence at a discounted price.
New links between Kudos and Careerscape enable subscribers of both programs to access careers information leaflets directly from Kudos.
